Bahrain Mirror: Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Services in Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ibrahim Al-Hawaj said that the ministry proposed 94 internal tenders in the first quarter of 2018 to 11 departments with total cost of 826.401 BD.

He added that the Roads Projects & Maintenance Directorate topped a number of departments as it proposed 41 tenders worth 368.400 BD, followed by Sanitary Engineering Operations and Maintenance Directorate that proposed 26 tenders worth 192.950 and then Building Maintenance Directorate that proposed 13 tenders of 123.240 cost.

Al-Hawaj said that the Ministry's internal tenders include those whose estimated costs range between 3,000 and 25,000 BD, as no sums are charged when applying for a tender that doesn't exceed 10,000 BD. However, a 15 BD sum is charged when applying for tenders over 10,000 BD but less than 25,000 BD.
