Bahrain Mirror: Lebanon's Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah praised the Bahraini citizens' demonstrations marking International Quds Day to voice solidarity with Palestine, despite all the circumstances they face.

Nasrallah pointed out that the demonstrations that took place in many areas across Bahrain on this occasion were suppressed, and said that "although their leader Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim is under house arrest and in a difficult health condition, their leaders, clerics, prominent figures and thousands of their youths are in prison, although they are oppressed and killed, sentenced to death and stripped of their nationality, when Quds Day comes and it's time to show solidarity with Palestine, you find them present."

Meanwhile, he further stressed, the Bahraini regime and its government continue "to make further communication and normalization with Israel and recognizes it, reaching the point of declaring that Israel has the right to defend itself in the occupied Golan area."

He concluded his comments on the Bahraini situation, in his annual address marking International Quds Day, by saying: "[I ask] all those silent in the Arab and Islamic world towards what is happening in Bahrain, isn't it time to show where the truth lies and where falsehood lies and who are the oppressors and who are the oppressed?"
