Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Foreign Ministry said it had bought the Bahrain embassy building in Brussels with a rent-to-own contract, adding that what was published in the local Al-Bilad newspaper about purchasing the embassy building for one million dinars is "false and inaccurate information".
The Ministry did not mention the cost value of the building, but said that the amount allocated for the purchase of the building of the Bahrain embassy in Brussels, the capital of the European Union "is distributed over a 20 year period, as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs decided to buy this building by a rent-to-own contract instead of the current contract and with a cost close to the rent of the current building, which will have a positive impact on the Kingdom in the future."
