7-Year Jail Term Handed down to 4 Suspects Accused of Kidnapping and Torturing Youth in Dar Kulaib, Claiming He is Informant

Bahrain Mirror: The Fourth High Criminal Court sentenced 4 individuals to 7 years in jail over charge of kidnapping a Bahraini and torturing him in a farm in Dar Kulaib, forcing him to confess in front of a video camera that he is an informant and sending the video to people outside Bahrain.
The Public Prosecution accused the first 3 suspects of kidnapping, on January 31, 2018, the victim, beating him, intimidating him and forcing him to say confessions.
It also accused them of depriving him of his freedom and using force against him, claiming he is informant. They forced him to get in a car they were driving, took him to one of the farms in Dar Kulaib and attacked him "for a terrorist aim".
The prosecution accused the fourth one of participating in the crime through inciting, dealing and helping the first suspect to commit the crime. It accused them of kidnapping the victim and torturing him, claiming he is an informant and works for the interior ministry.
