Bahrain Mirror: The health records indicate that the Al-Salmaniya Medical Complex Pharmacy dispenses approximately 3,000 prescriptions daily for all sections of the medical complex, including 1,000 for outpatient clinics, i.e. 33%, 100 for authorized patients, and 800 for patients staying in wards, i.e. 26%.
Approximately 500 prescription medications are dispensed to patients in the Emergency Department, and the medicines dispensed to the patients of the Al-Fateh building in the Salmaniya Complex as well as the Oncology Department are estimated at 500 prescriptions per day.
In order to coordinate and control the dispensing of the prescriptions, the Salmaniya Medical Complex administration has implemented the pre-notification and re-treatment of the patients' monthly medication. All patients must send a text or Whatsapp message on 66399709 number one day before visiting the pharmacy, including the patient's name and personal number so that the employees in the pharmacy can prepare his/her monthly prescription and inform him/her of the date for receiving the drugs, which contributes to reducing the waiting period for patients to receive their medicines.
The Salmaniya Medical Complex Pharmacy operates from Sunday to Thursday from 07:00 to 17:00. The Pharmacy also opens on Saturday from 7:00 to 13:30.
