Flights in Bahrain International Airport Stopped for 2 Hours due to System Fault

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain airport departure flights stopped for two hours yesterday due to a technical fault with airport systems. Bahrain International Airport announced in a tweet at about 11 AM via its own Twitter account that the technical issue has been resolved and that all operations have resumed back to normal.
Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Airport Company Mohamed Al-Binfalah said that the airport systems were subjected to technical fault on 7:45 AM, on Sunday, which caused a delay to some of the departing flights.
Al-Binfalah added in a statement to a local newspaper that the arriving flights didn't get affected by the fault and that only limited number of flights departing from Bahrain International Airport were delayed.
He further stated that the company has opened an investigation into the matter and is waiting for the final detailed report about the cause of fault.
