Bahrain Mirror: Press information stated that Chairman of the board Samir Nass is to file a judicial lawsuit against 2 members in the current board of directors over their involvement in signing the contract of assigning the last executive chairman of the chamber Khalid Al-Rowaihi, when they were members in the previous board.
Nass dismissed Al-Rowaihi from his post based on a recommendation from the Chamber's general assembly. The dismissal decision relied on the opinion of legal affairs in the chamber that proved that Al-Rowaihi's name was enlisted in the voters' list as a representative of Hafeera Construction Company, which means conflicts of interest. This is considered a violation to the law which stipulates that the Chamber's CEO shall not be a member of the chamber.
