Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): Head of the Bahrain Transparency Society, Sharaf Al-Moussawi, said that the announcement by the Ministry of Education in which it said it employed 797 Bahraini teachers at the beginning of the new school year is a step in the right direction, lacking; however, the transparency criterion," said Sharaf Al-Moussawi, head of the Bahrain Transparency Society.
Al-Moussawi also said in a tweet on Twitter that "the criterion of transparency is the announcement of names and years of graduation, especially that there are those who have graduated years ago without being employment in the education sector."
The Resources and Services Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education Mohammed Mubarak Jumaa stated that "the Ministry is in the process of employing 797 qualified Bahrainis, graduates of the Bahrain Teachers College as well as local and foreign universities, who meet the requirements of employment to work as teachers."
The Ministry of Education and the Civil Service Bureau refuse to disclose the employment mechanisms in the education system or the names of the Bahraini citizens employed or teachers transferred from outside the country to verify the fairness of the procedures followed and ensure equality and justice, amid complaints of discrimination in employment.
