3-Year Jail Term to Suspect Accused of Hiding Wanted Suspects over Political Case

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's First High Criminal Court sentenced two citizens (33 and 26 years old) to 3 years in jail. It convicted the first one of hiding and harboring the second suspect for about 2 years, noting that the second suspect is wanted over political case and is sentenced to 14 years in prison over two cases.
The court said that the first suspect hid in the period from 2016 to 2018 the second suspect, who is sentenced to temporal imprisonment and is wanted, in his house in Sitra and helped him, despite being aware of that. It also said that the second suspect took part in the crime with the first one through agreeing with him and hiding at his house.
The authorities say that first suspect confessed during the public prosecution investigations that he hid the second suspect, despite being aware that he is wanted.
