Bahrain Mirror: Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa issued Decree No. 47/2018 reorganizing the Ministry of Finance, with immediate effect.

Reorganization of the Ministry of Finance as follows:

 Article One:

 1-           Minister of Finance - responsible for the following departments:

A.           Public Debt Management Directorate

B.           Future Generation Reserve Council

C.           Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance

2-    Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance - responsible for the following departments:

A.           Audit and Follow up Directorate

B.           Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Information

C.           Human and Financial Resource Directorate

D.          Financial Information Directorate

E.           Government Property Affairs Directorate

3-    Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Affairs - responsible for the following departments:

A.           Budget Directorate

B.           Project Directorate

C.           Treasury Directorate

D.          Financial Systems Development Directorate

4-    Assistant Undersecretary for Economic Affairs - responsible for the following departments:

A.           Foreign Economic Relations Directorate

B.           Directorate of Government Investments

C.           Privatization and Outsourcing Directorate

5-    Assistant Undersecretary for Development and Revenue Policies - responsible for the following departments:

A.           Public Development Revenue Directorate

B.           Public and Policy Revenue Directorate

C.           Financial Information Directorate

6-    Assistant Undersecretary for Joint Financial Services - responsible for the following departments:

A.           Internal Audit Unit

B.           Centralized Unit for Public Purchases

C.           Central Competencies Directorate

D.          A number of financial resource managers will be assigned to supervise joint financial services across government departments

Article Two

The Cabinet shall issue orders regulating the joint financial services in line with the Civil Service Bureau's standards and requirements
