Bahrain Mirror: President of Customs in Bahrain Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa said that the implementation of the first entry points of trucks through King Fahd Causeway will be on first of January 2019.
An exceptional meeting was held between Bahraini and Saudi customs to review the lists of restricted goods in order to adopt and apply them at the first entry ports of the two countries.
The Saudi delegation has visited Bahrain to make sure of the procedures followed by the regulatory bodies in implementing the first entry ports in the two countries. These bodies inspect the goods heading to Saudi Arabia without the regulatory bodies checking them on the King Fahd Causeway, and only the security inspection remains if needed, which aims at contributing to the rapid flow of trucks and goods between the two countries
