2018-10-13 - 8:45 p
Bahrain Mirror: Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, launched a new baggage policy which replaces the current weight concept with a harmonized piece concept.
The new baggage policy replaces the system of 30 kg for passenger (in tourism ticket) with a system of baggage of not more 23 Kg. The number of bags is determined on the basis of the ticket and its class.
Since years, a number of airlines in the world have replaced the weight system with baggage system, as the weight of the single baggage has been reduced to 23 Kg.
This system allows people to buy weight with baggage rather than kg and with fix cost, noting that the baggage weight shouldn't exceed 23 Kg.
