Bahrain Mirror: The continuous and heavy rainfall has paralyzed traffic in Bahrain after water levels rose, swamping cars, as the country's infrastructure failed to contain the huge amount of rain falling for long hours on Saturday 20 October 2018.
Traffic disruptions in a number of streets and areas were shown in pictures, most notably the Alba roundabout and Istiklal Street.
The Ministry of Works said it was working on pulling water out of the streets and residential areas, but the priority was to open the main road network.
