Detention of Bahrainis Held for Performing Prayers on 10th of Muharram Eve in Manama Renewed for 7 Days

Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): Bahraini authorities renewed on Tuesday (October 23, 2018) the detention of a number of citizens for 7 days pending investigation, over charges of participating in the central prayers held on the eve of the 10th of Muharram in downtown Manama.
The security authorities had summoned around 27 Bahraini citizens last month, and decided to detain them for 15 days pending investigation for their participation in the central prayers held in the capital.
