US Defense Secretary Key Speaker at Manama Dialogue Summit to Kick off on Friday

Bahrain Mirror: The International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) announced that United States Secretary of Defense James Mattis will participate in the Manama Dialogue which will be launched Late Friday (October 26, 2018).
The announcement noted that Mattis will give an assessment of US policy in the Middle East on the first day of the summit, discussing the ways to address the region's most pressing security challenges.
It is noteworthy that British Minister of State for the Middle East at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Alistair Burt and British Defense Secretary Gavin Williamson will be among the participants in the forum.
The Manama Dialogue, to be held from October 26 to 28, is scheduled to discuss US policies, regional changes, conflicts, diplomacy and stability in the region as well as the issues of Yemen and Syria.
