Prosecution Arrests Suspect for 7 Days Pending Investigation over Vandalizing Electoral Banner

Bahrain Mirror: Chief Prosecutor and Head of the Public Prosecution-formed Election Crime Investigation Committee, Muhanna Al Shayji said that the committee received a notice stating that vandals targeting billboards of a candidate running in parliamentary elections were arrested.
He added that investigations were carried out and that after questioning the suspects, one of them confessed damaging the said banner. The prosecution ordered his arrest for 7 days pending investigation, in an introduction to refer the case to court. Meanwhile, the other suspects were released.
