Sunni Endowments Office Calls on Preachers and Imams of Mosques to Urge People to Vote in Elections

Bahrain Mirror: The Sunni Endowments (Waqf) Directorate called on all citizens to participate in the parliamentary and municipal elections, saying that participation in the elections accomplishes the [country's] interest in the short and long run.
The directorate urged preachers and Imams of mosques to "call on people to take part in these elections."
It also explained in a statement the jurisprudence principles for participation, saying that in some cases, it becomes a religious obligation.
