6-Year Jail Term Handed down to Arab National Who Claimed to be Police, Robbed Asian National while Searching Him

Bahrain Mirror: The First High Criminal Court sentenced an Arab national to 6 years in jail over robbing an Asian national after claiming he is a policeman.
The authorities received a complaint from an Asian national stating that on 6/2/2018 he was heading to his job in Juffair at around 4 a.m. A car with two men inside it stopped him. The two told the victim that they are policemen and started searching the car under pretext of it containing drugs.
The unknown person slapped him in his face and asked him to raise both of his hands up. He searched him and stole his wallet. Investigations were carried out and suspects photos were presented to the victim who could recognize the suspect. After arresting the suspect, the authorities noticed that he uses drugs. They took a urine sample from the suspect and it was revealed that it contains weed.
