Bahrain Mirror: The report of the Financial and Administrative National Audit Office for the years 2017 and 2018 showed that the balance of Bapco's revenue arrears increased from $295 million at the end of 2014 to $693 million at the end of 2017, i.e. an increase of 135%.

The report pointed out that 51% of those arrears exceeded one year, and represent 69% of the debts owed by government agencies.
