NAO Report: Drugs Dispensed Exceed Medical Prescriptions

Bahrain Mirror: The report of the Financial and Administrative National Audit Office for the years 2017 and 2018 revealed that the quantities of drugs dispensed exceeded the quantities prescribed medications by doctors (online), indicating malpractice.
According to the report, the I-SEHA system allows doctors and pharmacy staff to prescribe drugs for themselves without an electronic prescription by a physician, which opens the door for misuse.
