Bahrain Mirror: A local newspaper said the oncology department at Al-Salmaniya Medical Complex asked patients to leave the hospital and return home due to lack of medicines needed for their treatment.
The newspaper pointed out to the lack of "Leucovorin" medicine, which is used to increase the effectiveness of chemical drugs as a supporting drug, and "Fludarabine" medicine, which is used for the treatment of leukemia patients and colon cancer.
It confirmed that these medicines had run out of the hospital's pharmacy and warehouses, which delayed the treatment of patients, noting that this would worsen their health condition.
