Juventus Star Giorgio Chiellini Supports Bahraini Detained Footballer Hakeem Al-Araibi, Hopes He Returns to Australia

Bahrain Mirror: The heart of the Italy and Juventus defences Giorgio Chiellini sent a support letter to the Bahraini footballer who is detained in Thailand.
Giorgio Chiellini said in a tweet: "I'm hoping for a quick solution so Hakeem Al-Araibi can go home to Australia."
Chiellini added hashtag "SaveHakeem" that was launched by people demanding Al-Araibi's return to Australia.
The Bahraini government said the player escaped from Qatar to Iran and then to Australia, while he was with the Bahraini team delegation, after he was convicted of sabotaging a police station.
The Thai authorities arrested the footballer after he was on vacation in Thailand, based on a notice from the Bahraini government to the Interpol for his return to Bahrain, after he was granted asylum in Australia and played for one of its clubs.
