Bahrain Mirror: Activist Majeed Milad spoke via his Twitter page of how foreigners in Bahrain are favored over Bahraini citizens, and how citizens are not a priority on the officials lists.
"How can a nation become better when the citizens are the last of the officials' concerns?" wondered Milad, who was the mayor of the municipal council elected in the capital before it was dissolved by the authorities. "If jobs were less than the number of citizens, then it would have been an easier issue, but it's catastrophic sine the foreigner comes way before the citizen when comes to jobs."
"The citizen is excused if he dies of disappointment seeing all the resources of his country, his job, his rights as they go so easily resting in the grip of those who did not taste the sweetness of the homeland," he added.
"I do not think that the official who plays around with the jobs of citizens will regret it later on, a person of honor would refuse doing so even if the policy of a state is otherwise."
