Bahrain: Inflation Increased 1.4 Percent Last Month

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's inflation rate rose by 1.4% in January 2019 compared to the same month in 2018.
According to data released by the Information and E-Government Authority, the inflation rate rose by 1.1% on a monthly basis, compared to December 2018.
The record number was recorded in January 2019, with about 132.3 points, compared to 130.9 points in late 2018.
Alcoholic beverages and tobacco accounted for the largest share of the increase in inflation during the month of January by 3.4% on a monthly basis.
