Rima bin Bandar bin Sultan Appointed as Saudi Ambassador to US

Bahrain Mirror: Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud appointed princess Rima bint Bandar bin Sultan as the new ambassador of the kingdom to the United States with the rank of minister. She is the first woman to hold the post.
Rima is the daughter of Bandar bin Sultan, a former Saudi ambassador to the United States, who contributed during being there to the US invasion of Iraq.
This came after his son Khalid was relieved from his post as an ambassador and appointed as Deputy Minister of defense with the rank of minister. Khalid bin Salman served as Saudi ambassador in Washington since April 22, 2017.
