Bahrain Mirror: King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Royal Decree 36/2019 stipulating the formation of the Health Insurance Fund.

The Health Insurance Fund will chaired by President of the Supreme Council for Health, with the following members:

1-Minister of Finance and National Economy, as deputy chairman.

2-Minister of Health.

3-Minister of Labour and Social Development.

4-Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain.

5-Dr. Aisha Mubarak Jaber Bu Onq.

6-Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shurooqi.

7-Lawyer Fareed Ghazi Rafee'.

8-Jassim Hassan Abdel'aal.

The duration of their membership will be four years, and renewable for similar period(s). The deputy chairman replaces the chairman in case of his absence or inability.
