Eulogy Ceremony Held in Qom for Diraz Martyrs in Presence of Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim

Bahrain Mirror: Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim took part in the eulogy ceremony held in the Iranian city of Qom on the second anniversary of the massacre carried out by the regime against Diraz protestors.
The martyrdom anniversary of the five youth who were killed in the perimeter of Sheikh Isa Qassim's house was on Thursday (May 23, 2019). The five youths are: Mohammad Al-Sari, Mohammad Zainuldin, Mohammad Al-Ekri, Ahmad Al-Asfour and Mohammad Hamdan (whose brother was martyred after sustaining a bullet injury in the head during a previous attack by the security forces on the protest).
The eulogy was held with the participation of a number of clerics mainly Ayatollah Sheikh Mohsen Al-Araki, head of the "World Assembly for Rapprochement among Islamic sects". The speakers delivered speeches praising the martyrs and expressed their high respect and support for the steadfastness of Ayatollah Qassim during the siege.
The eulogy ceremonh coincided with protests staged in a number of Bahraini areas in support of the martyrs. Events were held in Karbabad, the hometown of martyrs: brothers Mostafa and Mohamad Hamdan.
A photo exhibition was also held around Sheikh Isa Qassim's house about the sit-in held around his home as well as the massacre that left 5 killed and around 300 arrested.
Thousands of citizens staged a sit-in outside Sheikh Isa Qassim's house after the regime revoked his citizenship in June 2016. The sit-in continued peacefully for one year until the massacre that happened in May 2017.
