Case of Egyptian Advisor Accused of Insulting Shiites Adjourned until June 19 for Pleading

Bahrain Mirror: The First Lower Criminal Court adjourned the case of Egyptian lawyer Yasser Al-Attar who is accused of insulting the Shiite sect which represents the majority in Bahrain.
The court decided to adjourn the case of the lawyer, who works as an advisor of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, until June 19 for pleading.
The defendant appeared before the court which recited the charges brought against him. He, however, denied them and said that he was defending himself.
The interior ministry arrested the Egyptian advisor at Bahrain's International Airport while attempting to leave the country.
The Public Prosecution accused him of insulting, assaulting the bodily integrity of others and inciting hatred against one of the sects.
