Bahraini Businessman Referred to Trial over Charge of Beating Egyptian Lawyer during BCCI General Assembly Meeting

Bahrain Mirror: The Public Prosecution referred member of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Nader Saleh Alawi to trial over charge of insulting and attacking the bodily integrity of Egyptian lawyer Yasser Al-Attar during the BCCI general assembly meeting. The First Lower Criminal Court is to consider his case on June 17.
A brawl broke out during the BCCI general assembly meeting between Nader Alawi and the lawyer (legal advisor of BCCI president) who insulted Shiites.
The Egyptian lawyer tried to leave the country after the brawl, but was arrested by the Interior Ministry.
He was investigate over charge of insulting Shiite sect and referred to the public prosecution, which referred him to trial.
