Prosecution Refers Shiite Cleric to Trial over Charge of Defaming the Caliphs

Bahrain Mirror: The Public Prosecution referred a Shiite cleric to trial over charge of defaming the Caliphs while delivering a religious sermon.
Capital Governorate Chief Prosecutor Abdullah Al-Thawadi said that the defendant will stand trial before the judges of June 19, 2019 over insulting symbols glorified and sacred by a sect of people.
Al-Hoora police station had investigated Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Madi (known as Mulla Mohammad Al-Madi) over a sermon he delivered in the holy month of Ramadan.
