Bahrain Mirror: Deputy Director of SALAM for Democracy and Human Rights, prominent rights activist, Sayed Yousef Al-Mohafdha, said the Jaw Central Prison administration has prevented Shiite cleric, Sheikh Mohammad Habib Al-Miqdad, who is sentenced to life, from receiving treatment
Al-Miqdad, who is one of the prominent political prisoners imprisoned since 2011, suffers from abdominal pain, according to his family. His family says that he spends a long period of each day hunched over, unable to move, adding that the only thing the prison clinic offers him is painkillers that do not improve his medical condition.
