Bahrain Mirror: The National Islamic Al-Wefaq Society described the acquittal of Yasser Al-Attar, the Egyptian adviser to the head of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), in the case of insulting the Shiite community, as a provocative ruling that is aimed at stirring up sectarianism in Bahrain.
Al-Wefaq stressed in a statement that the project to provoke sectarianism in Bahrain "failed and will fail in all situations and has no market and no place but with its makers who are behind it in all situations and in different places of authority."
Al-Wefaq further stated that the people of Bahrain with all its components will remain steadfast in the face of sectarianism, tyranny and dictatorship. It concluded its statement by emphasizing its main demand for "Bahrain's need for an independent and impartial judiciary, which is the foundation for building the state," adding that all stages have proven that there is a real crisis in the judiciary and a complete absence of justice.
