Bahrain Mirror: Minister of Labor and Social Development Jameel Hmaidan issued a number of resolutions dissolving and liquidating 5 societies, including Al-Zahraa Society of Orphans, founded by the prominent detained dissident Sheikh Mohammad Habib Al-Miqdad, who is sentenced to life imprisonment.
Tamil Social and Cultural Association, Bahraini Society for Cochlear Implantation and Hearing Impairment, the Islamic Enlightenment Society, Al-Zahraa Society of Orphans and Medad Charity International were dissolved, according to the resolution.
Grant Thornton Abdulaal has been assigned to oversee the liquidation of societies and shall be paid after finishing its duty. The society liquidates and distributes the liquidation return in accordance with the provisions and statutes of the society within 8 months after publishing the resolution.
