Taxi Drivers Complain about Illegal Competition from Expatriates: Newspaper

Bahrain Mirror: Taxi drivers near the Delmon Hotel in Manama confirmed that they do not complain about competition from taxis belonging to companies as much as complaining about the loose Asian labor, when customers are arranged to take private cars rented by other Asian workers, noting that they specify the meeting place and tempt them with prices lower than usual, pointing out that Bahraini taxi owners are the ones affected by these violations.
Local Akhbar Al-Khaleej newspaper said it toured Manama Market, near the Delmon Hotel, and saw a line of taxis whose owners were sitting on chairs near the hotel waiting to make a living
