5-Year Prison Term Handed down to Defendant Accused of Burning Policeman's Car in Karzakan

Bahrain Mirror: The First High Appeals Criminal Court commuted the punishment of a defendant, along with another one who has previously appealed the verdict which was upheld, accused of burning a policeman's car in Karzakan from 10 to 5 years in jail, upheld binding them to pay 5804 BD to the victim policeman for the damages they caused to his car and ordered the confiscation of seized items.
The authorities say that the defendants deliberately sat fire on August 13, 2018 to the said car, putting people's lives and money to danger for a terrorist aim.
