Anti-Corruption Arrests Employee for Taking Bribe

Bahrain Mirror: Directorate of Anti-corruption and Economic and Electronic Security said that it arrested an employee of the Ministry of Works red-handed while receiving bribe money for offering services against his job duties.
The Director-General explained that the department was tipped-off about an individual who asked money from a company to provide a particular service. The investigation into the information led to his arrest while receiving the bribe. Legal proceedings are being taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
