Royal Decree Appointing SCW Members, One Third of them from Al Khalifa Family

Bahrain Mirror: King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Royal Order 59/2019, appointing the members of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) in its seventh session. It was remarkable that one third of the appointed were females from the ruling Al Khalifa family.
The appointed SCW's members include: Mariam bin Hassan Al Khalifa, Hala Mohammed Jaber Al-Ansari, Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa, Masooma Abdulrasool Isa, Dana Khamees Al-Zayani, Muna Ali Abdulrahim, Mariam Ahmed Jamaan, Haifa bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Afnan Rashid Al-Zayani, Huda Al-Maskati, Sabah Al-Junaid, Suzanne Abbas Mohammed, Hooriya Abbas Al-Dairi and Huda Ibrahim Al-Sherooqi.
King Hamad also issued Royal Order 60/2019, re-appointing Hala Mohammed Al-Ansari as Secretary-General of the SCW for a three-year term, with the rank of minister.
