Court Upholds 3-Year Jail Term against Defendant Accused of Joining Popular Resistance Brigades

Bahrain Mirror: The Appeals Court upheld a 3-year prison term against a defendant accused of joining the Popular Resistance Brigades (Saraya Al-Muqawama Al-Shabiya) and receiving military training in Iraq.
The authorities arrested the suspect in Al-Ekr after returning from Iraq and claimed that he transferred explosives from different areas in the country.
