Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's main opposition group, Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, deemed the invitation of the Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem Al-Quds, Shlomo Amar, to attend a conference in Bahrain as a "hostile and provocative stance to the Bahraini people and the Arab and Islamic nations."
Al-Wefaq said in a statement on Tuesday (December 10, 2019) that Bahrainis were surprised yesterday (Monday 9, 2019) with photos of an Israeli Rabbi in Bahrain attending a formal event organized by the Bahraini regime to whitewash its bloody image in front of the world.
It stressed that all Bahraini factions are against normalization with Israel and such cheap propaganda programs which come at the expense of the Bahraini people and nation's principles and stances. These steps are only favored by the ruling regime, which has not been chosen by the people, and rules the country with an iron fist.
Al-Wefaq then called on the regime to cease its acts of provocation and not treat Bahrain as a private farm by stealing its resources and funds, and put an end to the projects of treason and normalization because it will not bring it legitimacy and will not cover its ugly dictatorial image, stressing that so-called "modern projects of tolerance and coexistence are lies exposed by the facts and real events."
