Bahrain Mirror: Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society expressed "sincere greetings, appreciation and gratitude to the great people of Bahrain, with all its men, women, young people and elders for their active participation in the ninth anniversary of the popular movement in Bahrain."

Al-Wefaq stressed in a statement it published via its official social media accounts "that the mass peaceful demonstrations and protests in various provinces and regions in defiance of repression, oppression and the crazy iron fist are a proof that the people are determined to proceed despite all the circumstances and threats."

The society greeted the high spirit and legendary resilience of the people of Bahrain and said that this interaction, after 9 years of repression, reflects a determination and a larger and broader position, and that if circumstances allowed them, hundreds of thousands of people would have taken the streets.

Al-Wefaq stressed that the demands of Bahraini people are a necessity, which puts Bahrain in front of one choice in responding to the Bahrainis' demands in democratic transmission, social justice, and rejection of tyranny, authoritarianism, dictatorship, plundering wealth and taking over the decision.
