Senior Scholars Calls to Stop Religious Events in Obsequies to Prevent Spread of Coronavirus

Bahrain Mirror: Senior Shia clerics in Bahrain called to stop all religious events in obsequies and other religious sites until the end of the coming week to prevent the outbreak of Coronavirus.
The statement issued by Sayed Abdullah Al-Ghuraifi, Sheikh Mohammad Saleh Al-Rabie and Sheikh Mohammad Sanqour read "In accordance with the Sharia mandate, we call on our brothers and sisters who run obsequies and other religious sites to halt all religious and social activities for the rest of this week and next week."
The scholars demanded to comply with the recommendations of specialists to prevent the spread of this epidemic, and appreciated the exerted efforts to contain this global epidemic.
