Khamis Al-Rumaihi Resigns from Shura Council after Moral Scandal

Bahrain Mirror: King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa issued Royal Order (36) of 2020 appointing Sabah Salem Al-Dosari as Shura Council member, succeeding Khamis Hamad Mohammed Al-Romaihi, who resigned by force.
Al-Romaihi's forced resignation follows a documented moral scandal. He resigned weeks after the scandal spread, and it seems that he was forced to do so, after a video showing him in a sexually indecent situation was circulated.
Khamis Al-Romaihi won a seat in the House of Representatives for Jaw region in 2006, and in 2010 he won by acclamation.
Born in 1955, Al-Romaihi worked until his retirement in 2003 in the Customs and Ports Department. He was head of administrative and personnel affairs
