Bahrain Mirror: President of the Israeli Occupation Isaac Herzog made a phone call with Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to congratulate him on Bahrain's 50th National Day.
A statement issued by Herzog's office said that he extended warmest wishes to Bahrain, noting that the kingdom's history stretches back much further than 50 years.
According to the president's office, King Hamad thanked Herzog, stressing that the two nations have much in common.
This call comes in light of normalization of relations between the two regimes.
Bahrain's ambassador to the occupation state, Khaled Al-Jalahama, recently posted a photo of him lighting "Hanukkah" candles to celebrate the candle-lighting Jewish ceremony.
Israeli Foreign Minister, Yair Lapid, visited Manama in late September and met with the King and Crown Prince of Bahrain during the opening of the Israeli Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Lapid was the most senior Israeli official to visit the Bahraini capital since the signing of the normalization agreement last year.
Recently, Herzog stormed the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of Al Khalil (Hebron) accompanied by settlers to celebrate the candle-lighting Jewish ceremony, which raised wide criticism.
