Bahrain Mirror: Preacher of Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque in Diraz, Sheikh Mohammad Sanqour, called on people to stop saying that "religion and religious people have nothing to do with political and economic reform."
Sheikh Sanqour explained in his Friday sermon (February 24, 2023) that "social justice, rejection of corruption, call for loyalty and care for people's rights, and what concerns political reform, are all part of the system of values that the Prophet Shuaib (peace be upon him) worked on and are the core action of the prophets."
Sheikh Sanqour called on religious scholars, with the approaching anniversary of the birth of the Twelver Shia Imam Mahdi, to "consider the period from 12 to 18 Sha'ban a Mahdist season under Imam Ali's saying, "Beware of heresies."
He hoped that scholars, preachers, intellectuals, writers, poets, eulogy reciters and the general believers will "interact seriously with this slogan and with this holy season, each from his position."
On the other hand, Sheikh Sanqour expressed "solidarity and support for the Palestinian people who stand in the face of usurping invaders."
