Bahrain Mirror: The Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society published a coloring book titled "The Pearl Generation" to introduce children and adolescents to the events of the glorious February 14 Uprising, on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of the uprising.
The notebook portrays the most prominent events of the uprising, starting from the gathering of the masses at the "Pearl Roundabout'" in the Bahraini capital, Manama, and a depiction of the bloody Thursday events, a portrait representing the martyr Ali Al-Moumen and his famous quote, in addition to symbolic images of the return to the roundabout on February 18, 2011. It also includes a portrayal of the confrontation with tanks on that day, as well as a depiction of His Eminence Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim and his famous slogan during the Friday sermon "We will not kneel but to God," and two symbolic images of the demolition of mosques in March of the same year and the chants of citizens from the rooftops during the state of emergency.
Al-Wefaq urged parents to "print out the notebook at home, and educate their children about the stories and backgrounds of all the relevant events."
