Bahrain Mirror: 40 political prisoners from Building 9 in Jaw Central Prison refused to receive Iftar (fast-breaking) and Suhoor (pre-dawn) meals starting from Sunday, March 17, 2024, in solidarity with those isolated in the prison, and with 53 political prisoners from Building 7 continuing their protest against the prison administration's insistence on implementing isolation.
The political prisoners demanded that the prison administration provide clear legal regulations for the use of isolation, the types of violations that warrant its implementation, and specify its duration, according to what human rights activist Ibtisam Al-Sayegh mentioned in a post on the formerly Twitter "X" platform on Sunday.
