BAPCO’s Statement: Fire Brought under Control, Investigation has been Launched into Incident

The Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO) issued a statement in which it said “on November 26, 2016 at 6:35 PM , fire broke out in one of the company’s refineries,” adding “the fire was brought under control at 7:15 PM thanks to the fireteam.” The statement also read “no casualties were recorded,” explaining that “investigation has been launched into the incident.”

Bahrain Cabinet Decides to Develop Super Fuel alongside Jayyid & Mumtaz

The Bahraini cabinet decided to approve the development of a new kind of gasoline with 98 Octane, known as "Super fuel" to be made available in the market as a third option for consumers alongside "Jayyid" (Good) and "Mumtaz" (Excellent) fuel.

Bahrain Mirror: The local Bahraini Al-Wasat newspaper said that a number of Bahraini sailors brought forth a complaint at the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, stating that they are being affected by the governmental decision to raise fuel prices which increased their expenses by 40%.
