The family of Bahraini detainee Fadel Sayed Abbas said it received a call from him today after 152 of his enforced disappearance, and 87 days after the last phone call with him.

Amnesty International said that “the Bahraini authorities must immediately and unconditionally release human rights activist Nabeel Rajab and opposition leader Fadhel Abbas, two prisoners of conscience who are facing long prison sentences for using Twitter to voice concerns about human rights abuses in the conflict in Yemen.”
