Sheikh Abdullah Al-Daqaq, prominent Bahraini cleric and director of Hawza in Iranian City of Qom, commented on the verdict issued by a Bahraini court, sentencing him along with 2 others to 10 years in prison and revoking their citizenship. He stressed that the decision was based on “a vexatious and void trial." "I don’t recognize it," he added. "This trial targets everyone who demands legitimate and just rights for our oppressed people in Bahrain, in particular the ones who defend Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim.”
