Bahrain’s Opposition Leader Sheikh Ali Salman Transferred to Jaw Prison

Bahrain Mirror: Activist Hussein Pervez reported from his father, detainee Mohammed Jawad Pervez, that the Secretary-General of Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, Sheikh Ali Salman, has been transferred to block 7 in Jaw Central Prison. It is worth mention that block 7 is where opposition leaders have been detained since March 2011.
Pervez further stated that Sheikh Salman was placed in cellblock 7 next to the official spokesperson of Al-Wafaa Islamic Movement, Abdulwahab Hussain.
He also pointed out that Sheikh Salman was wearing the prison uniform, accompanied by a number of police officers, adding that they were videotaping him as he entered the cell.
Pervez; however, stressed that Sheikh Salman was calm and high-spirited, and said, "when he saw me as I headed to visit my father, he told me: "Send my greetings to the people"."
